Well, Around One Week Ago, I Installed a Cache Plugin just because one of my users suggested that my site was loading slow. As a result i browsed many pages to get to know of some newer techniques of increasing page load time. But Ultimately there wasn’t anything i hadn’t done.
Let me tell you. I was against usage of Cache plugins as there are many problems associated with them. Certain Plugins like Wp-Polls do not work, on Old Pages Recent Posts show in-appropriately most of the times. So, Here i Provide you solution to all those problems and tell you an awsome benefit of the W3 Total Cache Plugin or WP Super Cache.
Cache saves your pages on your web server(disk). So, When a user visits your site the page already stored on your HDD is loaded. This Ultimately reduces the Load on your server which in turn increases the loading time as well as response time of the site. Also, the PageViews/Visitors Ratio Increases.
This is what actually happens. But the thing which amazes you the most is that you see a good rise in your adsense earnings as your ads are available to a larger number of people and more clicks. My Earnings (just eg) moved from $10 to $15 per day due to this plugin.
You Will Face some problems with this plugin which you may or may not notice. So, Here is what you need to do.
- Everytime you create a new post, empty all caches. In WP 3.0+ You can do this by Performance>Empty All Caches in your Admin bar. This will make your post appear under Recent Posts section in all pages.
- Remove All AJAX Plugins which change every instant, i.e. Internal CBs, WP-Polls. This is the only solution to it. You need to choose between Polls or Adsense. I Chose Adsense.
- If You are Using W3TC, then disable “Object Cache” and “Database Cache”. This will improve the experience of users. Your Editions to post will appear instantly.
- Also Disable caching for Logged in Users.
